Dean has been really stable throughout the day today. We've noticed before that Dean seems to be very sensitive to his oxygen intake, and His breathing rate and oxygen level were boosted to compensate for the effects of the coma medication. The doctor has decided to keep him in the medical coma for at least an extra day, evaluate him Friday morning and possibly start bringing him off the medication at that point. The process of going off of the medication will take up to 18 hours, though we may start seeing responses after 12 hours. We will provide another update when we have a more definite timeframe.

We cannot fully express how much we appreciate the outpouring of support and prayers that you all have shown. The wonderful prayer meeting last night, and then filling every slot on the prayer chain twice was more than we could have asked. Surely God will answer our prayers!
